This blade is unique in that the cutting edge is a full 80mm. With this full 80mm cutting surface you can easily cut up to 3 standard block widths (24mm) without overlapping. Customers who have used the blade report they can produce quality, consistent cuts for as many as 25-35% more turns per blade than the leading competitors.
The Crescent Encore blade is equivalent to the Sakura Tissue-Tek AccuEdge microtome blade.
