Born with club feet, which necessitated numerous surgeries, casts, and special shoes, she rose above the physical and emotional setbacks resulting from the birth defect, as well as rising above her own familys emotional and mental vagaries to live A Unique Life. As she shares her story with us, we are struck by her ambition and determination to help others. Striving to be the best throughout her school years, even as she went to medical school, she also strove to live a normal life, getting married and raising two daughters.
