""As compelling as Tan's first bestseller, The Joy Luck Club. . . No one writes about mothers and daughters with more empathy than Amy Tan."-The Philadelphia Inquirer " An] absorbing tale of the mother-daughter bond . . . this book sing s] with emotion and insight."
-People Ruth Young and her widowed mother, LuLing, have always had a tumultuous relationship. Now, before she succumbs to forgetfulness, LuLing gives Ruth some of her writings, which reveal a side of LuLing that Ruth has never known. . . . In a remote mountain village where ghosts and tradition rule, LuLing grows up in the care of her mute Precious Auntie as the family endures a curse laid upon a relative known as the bonesetter. When headstrong LuLing rejects the marriage proposal of the coffinmaker, a shocking series of events are set in motion-all of which lead back to Ruth and LuLing in modern San Francisco. The truth that Ruth learns from her mother's past will forever change her perception of family, love, and forgiveness. "A strong novel, filled with idiosyncratic, sympathetic characters; haunting images; historical complexity; significant contemporary themes; and suspenseful mystery."
-Los Angeles Times "For Tan, the true keeper of memory is language, and so the novel is layered with stories that have been written down-by mothers for their daughters, passing along secrets that cannot be said out loud but must not be forgotten."
-The New York Times Book Review "Tan at her best . . . rich and hauntingly forlorn . . . The writing is so exacting and unique in its detail."
-San Francisco Chronicle

Apple is number one
Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 128GB, Color: Blue, Configuration: Without AppleCare+
The best iPad it’s worth the money it works perfectly fine I think the battery life is fine, but it probably needs a little bit of work, I would choose Apple anytime of the week. The durability is perfect and everything and the gameplay is absolute amazing. this is also for personal use and probably college use. I’m probably going to use this for college as well.

Great purchase for everyday tasks
Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 128GB, Color: Blue, Configuration: Without AppleCare+, Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 128GB, Color: Blue, Configuration: Without AppleCare+
Good product, brand new condition works as it should, feels sturdy, perfectly fine for watching content and gameplay. Battery lssts basically all day. Easy setup
Color kind of shifts depending on lighting. Friendly advice, get a screen protector with a notch or pinhole cutout so your front mic isn't obstructed :).

Great ipad
Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 128GB, Color: Blue, Configuration: Without AppleCare+
I recently purchased the Apple iPad 11-inch with the A16 chip, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. The speed and responsiveness are outstanding, whether I’m browsing the internet, streaming videos, handling work tasks, or using multiple apps at once.
The 11-inch display is bright, crisp, and provides excellent color quality, making it perfect for watching movies, reviewing documents, and viewing photos. The battery life easily lasts throughout the day, even with heavy use.
The A16 chip delivers smooth performance with virtually no lag, making multitasking effortless. Apps open quickly, and everything runs seamlessly. The lightweight design makes it easy to carry around, whether for business, school, or travel.
The camera quality is impressive for video calls and document scanning, and the overall build quality feels premium, as expected from Apple.
Overall, the Apple iPad 11-inch with the A16 chip is an excellent investment for anyone looking for a powerful, reliable, and versatile tablet. It combines speed, portability, and ease of use into one outstanding device. Highly recommended!

Super easy to setup using my wife’s older iPad. With a good case it is very durable and the unit was new.
