After months pass and she finally decides to put the pillowcase on her pillow, the little girl slips into dreamland every night. While she sleeps, her pillowcase magically changes color to reflect her day, and a matching thread is delivered to her Gigi in heaven. One night, when the little girl is feeling especially sad, she sees a shooting star. Afterward, the little girl and her Gigi meet in a dream and learn how they will be forever connected through their love.
